Mission Statement

Our mission statement is our great work to build and sustain an open, caring and accepting community for Wiccan and other Pagan individuals and families. To share and care through our acceptance of one another. We seek to enlighten the public of who and what Pagans/Witches are, so as to dispel the misconceptions that many may have. We know there are many ways to seek the deity within us all. We understand and accept that no two people may seek or see communion with deity in the same way. Therefore we accept any and all individuals, covens, groves and others who come in perfect love to join us to form a temple of unity in which we can stand together for our rights to practice our faiths and share our Support TSP by purchasing logo items from our store!knowledge.

Sacred Path has many programs for community outreach and for training. We are supporters of the Aids Collation, a local AIDS victim support group. We ask those who attend our workshops and our rituals to bring non-perishable food for the Aids Coalition food closet.

For training, we offer an introductory class several times a year. This class provides a basic understanding of Wicca/Paganism and its practices for those that are new to these paths. We also have a year-long degree class for those who are looking for a more in-depth understanding of Wicca. Our degree program is the first step into our three-year ordination program. There are also sub-groups within the Temple of the Sacred Path that may offer more in-depth training in their particular traditions.

Sacred Path conducts Sabbats, full moon ceremonies and other events. The Sabbats are usually held on the weekends closest to the traditional date of the Sabbat and are open for the Wiccan/Pagan public to attend. The full moons are for Sacred Path members and are usually held on the nearest weekend to the full moon. Attendees may wear robes or street clothes. Some of the sub-groups aligned under the Temple of the Sacred Path also offer full moons and other rituals specific to their traditions.

Community Involvement

The Temple of the Sacred Path seeks to be more involved in the community. Sacred Path offers us a legitimate legally recognized platform from which our members can become involved in serving the community. We would like to see our members become involved in such things as local community inter-faith organizations, hospital and prison chaplain work and many other things to do our part for our community. Sacred Path will organize and help make such dreams a reality.
